Some times big things doesn’t mean that it’s the best, or unique ..

Thats what i learned today when and for some reason Google Analytics refuses to show me my blog stats, 3 days i am trying to know what is my stats by keeping searching and registering for many free counter stats services like apollo find or state counter, but let me be honest and say that non of these service can compared with Google Analytics, all they give you is un-understandable columns and colors ! besides, some people complained on web – related communities that these services doesn’t give you the specific or 100% correct results.I really do not what happened to my google analytics account, it keeps displaying 0 visitors during the last days, and that doesn’t make any sense because some visitors started to comment on my blog , Analytics did not count them.

So, after long hours of searching the internet for the one stat tool , i found this incredible plug-in called Wassup.

Wassup is a REAL TIME state plugin, really do the job, after installing and activated it, the most thing i liked is the simple look for this plugin, combined with many useful tools and buttons for statistics views.

Latest Hits Every 3 Minutes

Wassup can show you the latest hits with a graphics panel summary, you can choose the specific time for the summary, for example if you want to display pages views visitors for 6 hours , 24 hours, week, month… and all time preview. this stats will  refresh automatically every 180 seconds ..

With Wassup, you can detect the type of your visitor, wether the visitor is a human, spider, spam, or even your comment authors.

Detailed visitor results

Under this graph panel , you will find records mention who recently visit your site, displayed by pages depend on the number of your visitors, every visitor has a record, the visitor record will be colored depend on the type of the visitor, for example you will find spider visitor record will be colored by red head, Administrator ( You ) colored by green … etc, for each record display some visitor quick details like IP Address, what page url did he visit, visit date and time, what browser the visitor used and where did the visitor come from (ex. direct hit or referral).

For each record there are buttons contain useful features:

1- Raw Data
Raw data button gives you the possibility to views full details about your visitors , where did they come , when and all visitor connection details you need to know.

2- Delete a record
You click this button if you don’t want a specific record show between your records.

3- Mark IP
Let’s say that you want to remove all your ” visit ” for you website, all you have to mark one of the records that contain your information, thus will mark all related records.

SPY VISITORS

Well, i do not understand why they call it spy, but anyway this page has an amazing add, its like live monitoring for your blog stats.

You can just sit and enjoy looking on the markers show up on the map.

did i mention maps ? yes , Wassup plugin has a great feature that gives you the possibility to connect the plugin with google maps by entering your API code into the google map section inside Wassup setting. If you don’t have the key you can simply click on sign-up for your key link beside GEO IP MAP field inside options

As you see in the picture above, WassUp will display a google map with all we know features , the markers will show up with colors depend on the type of the visitor. you can also Play/Pause the flow of this page, under this maps you see all records for visitors came to your blog last mins,  and always you can choose what you want specificly see on the map by choosing from spy items list.

This amazing feature shows you who is still online in your blog pages, with listing the same record scheme i mentioned before. Does Analytics has that ?

Wassup has many fantastic choices in the options area, first you will 4 tabs inside the option area : General Options – Statstics Recording – Managing Database files – Uninstall
